Plastic Headbands

plastic headbandYou can find fashion headbands in a variety of styles like patterns, materials and widths, from trendy hippie headbands (think woven leather and hanging tassels), classy silk headbands to cute plastic headbands. Wide and skinny. You can even find fashion headbands with embellishments such as ribbons, polka dots, sequins, braids and a whole other bunch of adorable details! High quality plastic headbands are great for making hair accessories, and come in all sorts of styles, sizes and colors. Plastic headbands, which are most common, can be wavy, straight or angled and come in many colors. Quite often they have stones or fabrics (like leather or bows) glued to them to help make them more attractive. Some come with a built-in comb to help keep your hair back and straight when you put them on. Another kind of plastic headbands that come with the built-in comb are called Toothed Headbands (because the comb on the bottom side resemble small sharp teeth). The toothed headband have comb-like teeth that are connected to the top part of the headband (which may or may not have teeth as well) and they close together like a mouth. Novelty headbands (which are typically plastic headbands) can be used for holidays and may have decorations attached such as bunny ears, reindeer ears, Santa Claus hats and other items. The type of plastic headbands that is shown on this page (see the red headband), is also known as an Alice Band, named after the headbands Alice is often depicted wearing in Through the Looking-Glass.
